The Blessed Madonna torna sulle scene musicali con il nuovo singolo “Serotonin Moonbeams“. Primo di una lunga serie.
Il brano si potrà ascoltare su Radio Ibiza da lunedì 21 novembre.
Ha lavorato con una leggenda come Frankie Knuckles, “The Godfather of House Music”. Si è occupata in maniera audace dell’ambizioso progetto di remix album Club Future Nostalgia (in collaborazione con l’icona pop Dua Lipa). Ha prestato la sua voce per l’inno dance del lockdown “Marea (We Lost Dancing)” di Fred Again.. toccando le emozioni di milioni di persone in tutto il mondo. Ha fatto remix per The Chemical Brothers, Florence & The Machine e perfino Elton John.

A proposito della canzone, la DJ-producer americana e soprattutto iconoclasta della club culture contemporanea ha dichiarato:
“Si parla di come fosse innamorarsi durante i rave anni 90, tutti ricolmi di caramelle e strofinii. Si trattava di “cuddle puddles” (abbracciarsi durante un rave) e delle connessioni emotive fisiche e spirituali intense che si possono instaurare quando il livello della serotonina (l’ormone del buonumore ndr) sono giuste. Le barriere che possono esistere in un’atmosfera di incontro normale volano via e degli sconosciuti possono diventare personaggi amati e intimi in un istante. Il brano ha avuto una prima grande risposta quando l’ho testato in Brasile durante il mio tour. È stato scritto in uno di quei giorni in cui correvo da uno studio di produzione al divano, scrivendo testi con Uffie e Jin Jin. Ricordo il mio imbarazzo nel suggerire il testo “Bet I hit you with that bad bitch, thunder lightning, super frightening yeah!”, ma quando l’ho fatto è piaciuto a tutti e sapevamo si stesse creando qualcosa di interessante”
