Adele, la regina indiscussa di quest’anno, in sole 72 ore dall’uscita di “30” – il suo quarto album in studio – è riuscita a vendere oltre cinquecentomila copie del nuovissimo progetto musicale ed ora in rotazione radiofonica su Radio Ibiza arriva Oh My God nel bootleg remix di Socievole & Adalwolf. Considerata una delle esponenti del soul bianco insieme a Duffy e ad Amy Winehouse, la cantautrice britannica ha venduto in tutto il mondo circa 40 milioni di album e oltre 50 milioni di singoli, ottenendo anche numerosi e prestigiosi premi – come nel 2013 – alla cerimonia degli Oscar nella categoria “Miglior canzone” con Skyfall, colonna sonora del 23º film della serie di 007, dal titolo – per l’appunto – Skyfall.
“30”, l’ultimissimo album di Adele, arriva infatti a sei anni di distanza da “25“, un album che ci mostra un Adele diversa, reduce da un divorzio e da una storia finita male da metabolizzare, ma che ormai è una donna indipendente, non più una ragazzina affranta da consolare.
Oh My God, pubblicato il 29 novembre 2021 è il secondo estratto di “30”, ed è stato scritto dalla stessa Adele assieme al produttore Greg Kurstin; mentre il video clip musicale è stato diretto da Sam Brown, che aveva già collaborato con l’artista nel 2010 per la clip di Rolling in the Deep.
